At launch we ship parcels within Canada only: the sender's address and the recipient's address must both be in Canada.
International shipments, including Canada to the United States, are not offered yet. Because a domestic parcel does not cross a border, you never need to provide customs details.
2. Who can book, and how
Anyone can compare shipping rates without an account. To pay and book a shipment you need a MIR-Trans account and must be signed in.
The services and prices you see come from the carriers for the addresses, sizes and weights you entered. Your shipment is booked only after your payment succeeds and the carrier confirms it; your label is then in your Shipments dashboard and your receipt in Billing & Payments.
A single quote covers 1 to 50 boxes of the same size, up to 1000 kg in total. Boxes of different sizes need separate quotes.
The quote form warns you when one box is heavier than 30 kg - many services will not carry it. Carriers set their own size and weight limits for each service and may decline a parcel that exceeds them.
Enter the real size and weight of the packed box. If a carrier measures a different size or weight, it can adjust the charge for that shipment.
You are responsible for what is in your parcel and for following the carrier's rules on dangerous, restricted and prohibited goods. If you are not sure whether something can be shipped, contact us before you book.
Pack every parcel so it can be handled safely, and attach the label to the outside of the box.
5. Pickup and drop-off
Unless a pickup is scheduled, take your labelled parcel to a location of the carrier shown on your label.
Carrier pickups are available only for services whose carrier offers them. Where a pickup is available, a Pickup button appears on that shipment in your dashboard; you choose the window, and it must end after it starts. A pickup shows as scheduled only once the carrier confirms it.
Cancelling a pickup does not cancel the shipment - the label stays valid, and you can drop the parcel off or schedule another pickup.
Delivery times shown with a rate ("Est. Delivery") are the carrier's estimates, not a promise of a delivery date. Weather, carrier volume and address problems can delay a parcel.
You can follow every shipment from your dashboard. Unless you switch them off in your notification settings, we also email you when it is on its way, delivered or returned.
Whether a booked shipment can be cancelled and refunded depends on the carrier voiding the label. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how this works.
